I'm trying to make a movie consisting of Xvid-encoded clips. When I move them into Premiere, the little clip player pops up and shows the video just fine. However, when I place the clip into my timeline, it won't show up on the Monitor window. Whenever it reaches the video, an X appears in the upper left corner and the monitor stays black.
Is there something I have to do to make it XviD compliant? I could have sworn I've used those types of files before in Premiere without it doing this.
