The files encode from TMPGEnc can play perfectly to the very last second in computer.![]()
But after burn it to SVCD (VCDEasy then Nero) and play in DVD Player, it actually shorten a second or two on every chapter. Making it very annoying when going to next chapter.
Can I adding some blank frame to MPEG-2 files without encode them all again? How?![]()

Thanks but no. The bin file (created by VCDEasy) size only 780MB.
Here's how I create the file:
-Captured 3 TV programs by TV card all in MJPEG-PCM avi files.
-Using Nandub crop out Ad etc., becomes about 20min each. (Since I want to put all 3 programs into one SVCD, so I cropped very "accurately sharp".)
-Using TMPGEnc Wizard convert them to SVCD 2Pass VBR@500/1500/2520 Joint-Stereo 224kbps.
Up to this point the files still play from start to end correctly and perfectly.
-Then create bin/cue by VCDEasy, SVCD 1.0.
-Burn to disc by Nero.
The SVCD created play smooth in DVD player but at the end of each chapter (3 chapters total) it finished about half second earier than it should be, sound and video both.
Even I merge 2 seconds black frame to the end of the files the problem still remain during playback on standalone player.
Is that relate how I cut out the Ad? But it play right.
Any clue? -
Test using CDrw .. it could be due to vcdeasy putting in some sort of delay or something for every chapter.. try burning without chapters. are you cropping on keyframes?? very important as cuts will be made only on keyframes.. and they may not match your edit points.. also try ulead movie factory 2 its quite good for 100% compliant svcd.
