Every time I convert avi to dvd and then watch the movie on my standalone dvd player the picture comes out dark. The problem is that it's only dark during night scenes or like in lord of the rings the picture is perfect but when lets say the characters are in in the dungeon you can barely see anything.
I use TMPEGnc to convert avi to dvd. Is there anyway to fix that problem.

Are you saying you have an AVI version of Lord of the Rings?
Hello. -
Yes, I ripped it off my dvd so I won't have to use my original and scratch it up.

How did you rip a DVD to AVI? Just curious, as it would save me a ton of work in the future.

What do you mean how you do it.
