I just wanted to point you at my unofficial DVD+RW web site located at http://www.DVDplusRW.org

It contains all the information you need on the DVD+RW rewritable DVD format, such as technical specs, overviews of DVD+RW video recorders and PC drives, blank media overviews, comparison articles of DVD-RW/-RAM vs. DVD+RW, compatibility lists, and lots more.

Furthermore, there's a forum on the site, especially targeted at DVD+RW related inquiries. The forums at VCDhelp are great, but in some occasions you might want to try this forum, especially if you have specific DVD+RW questions or comments.

It also contains some half truths and wild claims too so take it with a pinch of salt. What TV and Video tested the Philips DVD+RW recorder and found a number of DVD players that would not play the resultant discs. So much for better compatibility than every other format. Compatibility of DVD+RW will be much the same as DVD-RW, i.e. most players will work, some wont.

No substitute for testing.
