  1. Hi, having a problem been trying to encode some files to burn them to dvd but having a real hard time. The first then which doesnt seem tobe a problem but might be is when it starts to encode it says

    Warning: Nothing to Output
    Bframe Decoder Lag

Of course then it starts encoding. Now once its done though the video seems fine but there is no sound. I did read the sticky about problems with TMPGEnc and tried what it said to do. I saved the sound as a wav file and then tried to encode it again. Same thing happened no sound, when I check the file after its been encoded with gspot or avicodec it lists the video but nothing for the sound. I thought it might be the file so I tried a different one and the same thing happened. Oh also when I play the file in Windows Media player it says error downloading codec and just plays with no sound I am guessing that is because there is no sound.

The one other problem I have is sometimes it says it can not recognize mpeg 2 or one of those and says something about dvd and needing to have the software to watch dvds. Now I do have the software to watch dvds and they play fine. That message is very strange and does not show up that often. Just tried to get it to come up again but not having any luck. Thats problem not an issue but I really need help trying to figure out the problem why it wont encode. I want to burn the files and get them off my computer.

    Thanks for any Help

What is the source (type, codec, bitrate etc) and have you checked for bad frames?

Just read this again. Make sure Tmpgenc is set up to produce a system stream with Video+Audio (radio buttons, bottom RH corner of TmpGenc window)
