    First,, I love your site,, its my homepage! Well,, I'm new to Burning VCD's I have read topics on burning,,Superhelpful. Well,, I burned the movie JP-3,using ezPlat. Everything went fine. I can play the movie in windows Media player,, however,, I can't play it in new(3 days old) Panasonic DVD-RV31U-K,, I checked your list of compatable stand alone DVD players,,its listed for for VCD,, which means I should be able to play the VCD movie ,,
    What am I doing wrong? DOn't know if it matters,, but when watching it on computer,, it has Chinese close caption,, is the mpeg I downloaded,, copywritten,, or can't be read on a
    usa region? Please help,, I'm might go crazy and start smoking crack to ease the pain!!!

  2. How exactly did you make the JP-3 VCD? Run us through the encoding and authoring steps. Also- make sure the brand of CD-R/RW that you using is ok.

  3. I have played many different movies, all VCD's on this player without a problem. THey are all made using Nero or EZ creator 5.0. Using TDk or PNY CD-R's. I did try tp play some store bought VCD but I think they had the CD-I header and the Panasonic would not play them.

    Check your media type. Your DVD may not be able to read the type you're using.
