  1. Hey All,

I use Nero 6 to burn my VCD/SVCD! I have relized that the video is not being show properly. It apperas as if its in zoom mode just barly. Like on a music video from mtv, the mtv logo in the bottom right corner in at the edge of the screen, not set in a little like in the video when I see it on my pc! This doese not alow me to see the full video. When I go to 3/4 zoom i can then seen the hole video plus the back edge, can some one help me!

Are you saying that you see the full image when viewed on your pc but the edges are slightly cropped when you play it on your tv? If so then this is normal. Do a forum search for overscan. If you want to preserve the edges then you can add black borders on all sides. You'd need to add between 12 to 16 pixels worth depending on your tv, but rest assured that your disks are playing exactly as they are supposed to.

  3. All television sets cut off from around the edge of the image.

Though i does not cut off that much, it can ruin the quality of some videos.
That's why sometimes when I convert them to MPEG (using TMPEGEnc) i shrink down the image to about 89 or 90 % of what it would be at full size.

    DVDRhelp.com definition of overscan

    yeah...
