    Hi i have d/l a film and went to tmpgenc to encode the film to mpeg for burning i had to split the file in half for 2 cd-r the quality was ok but not as good as the avi because i had to reduce the resolution i was wondering what is the best template to use to keep my quality and what settings are best, it be nice to put the film on one disc but 2 will be good as long as i keep the quality these are the settings for my film

    512 X 384
    23.976 fps
    CBR 1150
    LAYER-2 48000 HZ 192 kps

    film length is 83 min 20 secs
    and avi size 687mb

  2. Since you want it on one disc, then you better use VCD Film, and reduce the audio to match the source.
    it's not worth doing SVCD or anything beyound that, cause your movie's bitrate is not that high, it's equal to VideoCD.
