Hello. I've been working with svcds for a bit. I usually start with an avi, and convert it using virtual dub, and tmpg. But it seems that all the svcds I create are unable to be fast forwarded. If I hit fast forward, or pause for that matter, when I hit play again the movie will return to the very beginning of the disc. I'm using nero to burn. scandata.dat is present in my svcds' directories, but it doesn't appear to be working. I think there needs to be more info in my scandata.dat file, but I haven't found any articles or advice on how to write seek info. I know I'm missing something, but I'm not sure where to look. For reference, my dvd player is a samsung ht-dm150. Thanks for any and all help.

Dont forget to set the chapter points... this may happen by default.. but you can set as many or as few chapter points as you like (well, 99 max!). vcdeasy also burns ...(like holy water on a vampires face)

Oh yes, that works wonderfully. I've been setting one every 5 minutes. It's great to have the seek options. I haven't gotten into placing them at strategic points, but that'll probably be next. Thanks again for all the help.
