    What's the best software to use to capture from VHS with this card? Also is there a way to capture to DV with it? If so, how?

    the card comes with it's own capturing s/w or can be used with iuvcr or virtualvcr - see the capture section over in the l/h column on this web page. Just keep in mind that it's a wdm driver based card.

    but - if you intend to run that card on your computer - best take a hard look at the card's environmental requirements. You may not have enough speed/capacity to run such a setup.
