My PAL SVCDs play fine under the ntsc option on my stand alone dvd player but I get a flickering image when choosing the PAL option. What could I be doing wrong?

from what i remember this has some thing to do with ur tv and the refresh rates ntsc is 6ohz, the flicker is caused by ur tv not being able to handle it most neew tvs have a 60hz mode try another

I only have problems with the pal option. If I choose ntsc, although my svcd is pal I have no problems (except for a little moire). Thanks for your time.
