I heard that I can put selectable subtitles on my SVCD compilation. But i didnt find any article or guide about how to do.
So, could you help me guys?
Ah! And subtitles in TXT will work normally or I'll have to convert it to a special format? If yes, what format?
Thanks!

Have you checked in the player list that your player supports svcd selectable subtitles?
in any case, here is the only guide that exists, i think
it's far from complete though, so if you have any problems feel free to ask, Ill try to help as ive been delving in this stuff a lot lately
http://www.how-to-convert.com/ask_us/a7042003.htm
this guide explains how to add (it's actually called "mux") selectable subtitles to an existing MPG - if you are ripping a DVD or converting AVI just use DVD2SVCD it will add the subtitles for you and save you the hassle (if converting avi, check rip subtitles and in the "convert" tab use the "GO" button and chose external subs there. just make sure they are srt). I recommend subtitle workshop for conversions and any other sub handling for that matter. also, always open your sub file with it and fix all errors (ctrl+i). lastly, if you have right to left language subs you might need to reverse punctuation with it (crtl+shift+f)
btw, if you are using said guide, DO NOT USE NERO to author the SVCD but rather VCDEASY, otherwise it might not work or you might have other problems
