  1. I downloaded a SVCD, re-encoded it for adding subtitles.
After that I calculated the bitrate, andI filled it into TMPGEnc

Now I wanna burn it as SVCD with Nero
When I start nero, select as "type" SuperVideoCD and add the .mpg-file to the "disc" it says it can't, because the file is too big, but I've some older SVCD (which I burned as .BIN) and the .mpg files on those CD's are sometime over 800,... kb

So whats the problem? If I do it as .bin, should it work than?
    Or is it just impossible

If it's multiplexed correctly it should fit, so I think it's not multiplexed as SVCD (I've had the same problem). Do this with TMPGEnc:

File -> MPEG Tools... -> Simple Multiplex
    Open your .mpg file.
Select MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR) as the Type.
The output name will probably be the same as your original .mpg file, so change it, but keep the .mpg extension.
    Click Run.

TMPGEnc will now remux your .mpg file. This will only take a few minutes. Try to burn the new .mpg file with Nero.

By the way, if Nero still claims it's too big, you can try a few other programs.

  4. just enable overburn, on an 80 min cd it will most probably fit, and up to 82m50s i can burn and still have a perfect (S)vcd
