I have seen screenshots of ATI MMC it looks really cool. Can i use it on my Pinnacle PCtv PRo card?
I really regrets that i bought the ATI 9500 Pro card i had cheap budget then I have pinnacle card i didt want to pay some $ more. and trow the Pinnacle away.
Now im hunting on an mpeg & avi capture program for Windows 2000.
I have tried Showshifter its good on avi but i like to capture to mpg too like MMC.
I havent tried out the Pinnacle drivers on a couple of years then they was bad, even the capture program vision sucked then.
I know that i get the best quality by capture into avi then encode to mpg in tmpgencoder or an other encoder cce or such. But the ATI MMC can do booth. Does this exist to pinnacle cards or something that is equally good?
Or does the ati cards have any better capture chipset? that make this?
Ive also tried and capture with some direct to mpeg program dont recall the name but i was not satisfied with its options.
And another thing my capture card has very bad svideo input, the color is really thin. i have tried to change the brightness and gamma and all such things but i cant get it good. Can i download any "color theme inf file" or such?
The svideo cable cost 16$
and i use an SHARP VC-S2000 svhs VCR
I Have
AMD 2400+
ASUS A7n8x motherboard with built in soundcard its like soundblaster audiogalaxy 2 LITE
256x2 DDR ram 2700 in speed
Excalibur ATI RADEON 9500 Pro 128mb only tvoutnot vivo
I run Windows 2000
and use the btwincap drivers to the Pinnacle PCtv Pro.
