capturing multiple avi's at DV start/stops points

Can someone help me on this. I had read somewhere that a certain program/s or capture card/s could automatically capture at the DV start to stop points into separate AVI files.
Any info please?

Hey thanks for that Ron. That looks like a great prog. Does even more than what i was asking about. That said, does that mean there is nothing like that comes with a capture card or a editing software or even a plugin for premiere?

Try MovieDV 4.0 from AIST. See http://www.aist.com for info.

I believe Premiere6 can do it as well, I don't like Premiere tough (too slow, too big).
