I just installed win98 SE on a seperate partition (I am a Plain 98er, most of the time) and I would like to install the BtWincap drivers. I know I have to use the manual install for 98SE, but I don't know what all the settings are. What tuner and chip set does the Leadtek 2000XP Deluxe have? I need the change about 5 settings in the .inf file to get it to install. Has anyone gotten these drivers to work with 98SE and this card? Finally, does it really make that much of a difference?
Thanks.

I tried using the btspy program, but it still would not install. Even the spy worked and I loaded the output in the installer, I still got the can not install to 98SE error. I wonder why the info for btspy indicates that it will work with 98 SE, if the installeer will not?

I got it to work, by first removing the drivers using the btinstaller, then causing the hardware finder fail to re-install the drivers upon reboot, using the btwincap installer to install but fail. I used the leadtek 2000 and philips ntsc profiles (after trial and error) to install. It then fails. After reboot, point the hardware installer to the temp file created by the installer. Anybody want to do this????
Now, I wonder if it was really worth it. I really don't see any improvement with this driver versus the winfast drivers. What test can I run to show the the btwincap drivers are better? What are the actual advantages of the bt drivers over winfast? I want to capture to full resolution with windvr to mpeg2.
Thanks
