    any file I play that is 640x480 and higher has a tendency to stutter and go out of sync on my comp. The only solution I have found is to reencode the file to a lower res. This takes an extraordinary amount of time so if there is a way around this I would like to know plz.

    Get a faster machine or a sigma Xcard. that's the only way around it.
