  1. Had 2 svcd's that i joined with TMPGenc to make 1 large svcd. I want to burn this to dvd-r .Can i just burn this as i would a normal svcd on a cdr .Tried finding out about this but all seems a bit complicated.

    No, you can't just burn it like you do with SVCD. SVCD-Mpeg2's are 480x480 resolution which is not a DVD standard resolution. Some DVD players will still play DVD's in ths resolution though, especially if they play SVCD's. So you can either re-encode the video to DVD standard or use the SVCD video and create a non-standard DVD, your choice. Either way you should pick a guide and follow it.
