RPC Terminated

me and 2 of my friends who have windows XP r finding that when we turn on our comps and go online, every time RPC shuts down.

this just started today, ney ideas or do i need to provide more info?

if so what info do you need?

Its a Microsoft bug (I'm not tring to start an OS war here ppl).

The flaw was discovered about a month ago. Took them this long for a sizable expoit to take hold I guess.

You got that right. Even Fox News Channel is reporting about this problem. They suspect it will get worse in a few days.

Its the typical double-edge sword of releasing secrity fixes. If a security patch is released to the public, it is the same as informing all the skilled hackers out there where the vulnerablity lies. Thus they flock to hack as many people as possible before the patch is widely distributed.
