  1. Hi guys !!!
I have followed the FOOLPROFF method and all was really smooth till i came to the section when i have to pulldown the 23 FPS to 29
    (my source is 23 FPS).
After trying and using both versions (WinXP compitable ) and DOS versions of pulldown.exe i have picture shaking.
Its like do small vibrating down and up.....
    Anything have expirienced this?
If so ,u might also know how to fix it?

Its possible that you had the encoder set to interlaced frames, or that the encoder didn't properly set the prog_frames flag. Try getting the gui for pulldown.exe and setting the prog_frames flag to progressive and the prog_seq flag to interlaced. This is the proper setting for an ntscfilm encoded (23.976fps) movie.

Now you didn't say what format you are making. If you are making a SVCD and using a 16:9 aspect ratio than there is nothing you can do. Very few hardware players support 16:9 SVCDs.

BTW: Does it only shake on a hardware player or does it do it on a software player on your pc too?

It will do this if you used the "PROG_SEQ P" command switch.
    ICBM target coordinates:

No, you can still benfit from encoding in 16:9 even without a widescreen television, but I do not believe that 16:9 is supported in the SVCD standard. Use it at your own risk.
