  1. i'm trying to convert a mov file but i'm having trouble getting the audio to convert. i tried to export it with quick time pro, i tried tmpgenc and i tried RAD Video Tools. but i thin kthe audio is protected or something. i just want to make the mov into a mpg or avi with the audio. does anyone have any idea what i can do?

  2. Some QuickTime files are protected, but you can try using EO-Video, if that doesn't help, I don't think there is much you can do.

    The only surefire way I've found to be able to do what you want was mentioned in an earlier post, a few months ago.

    Like you, I could not find any programs to do this successfully, so the fix was: capture the video through whatever method you usually use, then play the mov file again and capture sound with the sound recorder program that comes with windows or your soundcard.

    I needed to make the LINE IN audio the method to record.

    Then you mux the video and audio together.
