Randomly when I open an mpeg1/2 file with wmp6 in windows 2000 it does not seem to be using the mpeg codec properly, when I click file>properties it lists:
Default DirectSound Device
FullScreen Video Renderer
MPEG Audio Decoder
MPEG Vide Decoder
Video Renderer
When you view it in full screen it appears all pixelated. It is a random occurance that is very annoying.
I have changed my graphics card, and reloaded win2k several times through the years, I have tried installing the latest o/s service pack and also installed wmp8 with all new codecs, still the problem remains.
If anybody knows anything about this or knows how to stop this from happening please reply
