ReadTFM: Another SVCD chapt question

I've read the manuals on how to make chapters for svcd usng either Easyvcd or Unlead.
I opted for easyvcd because my dvd will play svcd and auto convert from pal...it seems unlead always wants to convert the svcd...but all I want is to add a coupla chapters...
So I do the easyvcd thing as per manauls at left...everything seems to go well...I get a bin/cue out...burn and play on dvd...no chapters...so I convert that bin/cue to mpg via vcdgear and run powerdvd to make sure it isn't just my dvdplayer...nope, no chapters there either...
...I gotta be missing sumptin stupid...any idea what that might be?

never heard of easyvcd, I do use VCDEasy. If you extract the mpeg from the vcd, you will have no chapters, the chapters arent apart of the mpeg.

in VCDEasy try:


make sure PBC is checked on the front screen

Thanks for the mpeg-no-chapter advice...worked perfectly...
...I don't know what I did wrong with the first disk, but all subsequent tries were tested on the extracted mpeg...
