    Is there a way to turn off the Verifying Disc when you burn a DVD-R? I don't want to use my burner up verifying something that if it didn't come out it's ruined anyway.

    Open RecordNow and select [Options]

    You will see 'Data Options' under the 'General' tab.

    Make sure "Verify the data written to the disc after write" is not checked.

    The earlier RecordNow didn`t have that option.
    I used to hit cancel when verifying, the disc finalized anyway.

    Why don`t you just update to 4.56
    or use Max data job.

    That's true my record max does not have the same set up but I figured out how to disable the verify. Thanks.
