this is the error that i keep getting when using virtualdub p4

    virtual dub error
couldnt locate decompressor for format 'dx 50'
virtual dub requires a video for windows(vfw)compatable codec to decompress video. direct codecs ,such as those used by windows media player are not suitable.

Alright, I'm new at this stuff but I'll give it a shot...first take the avi files and use tmpgnec to convert the files to mpg's. And then you're free to burn them on vcd's...if you know how to burn to vcd's....PLEASE let me know EXACTLY how to do it cuz I'm having some problems with that myself. Hope that helps.

how to burn vcd'si use nero to burn vcd's.
just start nero then select compile a new cd.
then select other cd format, then video cd.
select ur file and then let nero write it.
    easy pezzie lemon squeezy.
