    I have a weird problem. When I drag an drop an AVI, DIVX or even an ASF file in Nero to burn a VCD it just accepts it without complaining or giving an error message that it isn't VCD compliant. Can anyone please explain to me what is happening? By the way, I'm using Nero 5.5.10.7....

    have your tried clicking on burn? because usually it starts to re encode it just before it burns it
