hello friends , i have 1.7 p-4 system with an 40 +40 =80 gb hard disk , with an ati all in wonder 32mb pro capture card , i have kept complete 40 gb(d drive) for capturing purpose , and at the lowest AVI resolution 440 x 360 i cannot capture more than 8 mins where as the time displayed by digital vcr tab custom settings is 1 hr 20 mins , also my disk setting is for d drive 40 gb and empty disk setting is for 1 mb and cature setting is upto 38 gb still it wont capture more than 8 mins can any one advise.

Your computer details don't say what operating system or file system you are running. If it's not XP or 2000 with an NTFS file system then you could be hitting the 4gb file limit for the FAT32 file system. (How big is the 8 minute file?).

sorry for replying late been out , i have windoe 98 se operating system that 8 mins is only well idint check the file size i will check and tell u.
