  1. Hello friends,

I am editing wedding video and want to insert a flip ablum so that the album can flip with each scene on every page of album. The scene is the video clip or movie can play here. (same as file .jpg attached here with below for clear).

If you know, please show me some software useful for editing wedding such as: ring, flip album, cadal, and much more....

    Any advice or ideas appreciated,

    Thuy Dinh,

I usually just do a photo slide show, with a time out set to 6 seconds.

DVD Lab says it has built in transitions, maybe worth checking out. It's in beta mode now, with a free down load.

You could also load up your images into an editor, set the play time for each still, then put niffty transitions between each. Export, then encode. I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro's Animation program for chores like that.

  3. What are you using to author DVDs right now? This sounds like a complicated technique you are considering, one which might be best handled by higher-end software.

My low-end solution would probably be to shoot about 15 seconds of footage: zoom over the shoulder of a person flipping through a photo album until the album fills the screen with two blank pages. Run this as a motion menu for each scene page, and end the footage with a still shot of the photo album, and superimpose the scene selections on top of that from within the authoring program.

Maybe I'm overthinking it (or underthinking it, for that matter), but this would seem like a reasonable solution for a lower-end authoring program; one that allows for motion menus. but not for setting up complex interactivity (like an animated photo album)

EDIT: Looking again at disturb's post, I'm wondering if I followed your question correctly, or if you just wanted a jpeg slideshow. Well, I hope I helped...

    And now I'm confused

thuydinh spoke of CADAL Computer Aided Dynamic
    Assessment & Learning
to me and Flip Album, which nothing more than a slide show maker.

And reading the other post, I think what you need to do is use an editing program.

Input your video footage, overlay your frame/picture if you want it to look like a photo album, use Hollywood FX to create transitions (look of page flipping) between the video scenes.

Uleads Video Studio can do that, has built transitions to, but Hollywood FX's look better and are more controllable.

  5. Thanks a lot for your advice. I saw a wedding video by chance and looked a lot of scenes of film attractive with the album peeling, each page is the movie on it...I author my video by Ulead DVD Workshop 1.3 ..but I think this technique cannot perform here...If you know some Hollywood FX transition can make the nice album and can peel..please show or teach me...Thanh you very much.

    Thuy Dinh,
