  1. Hello, I know this topic has been brought up before but it seems to fade away before it is properly answered. Many people, like me, are looking for a way to make audiocds that also include some video.
I don't want to have empty tracks when the CD is inserted in a CD player that the user would have to skip over. Therefore, according to past posts, the method would be done with the Philips Toolkit and Gear.
I have learned a little about toolkit. For my first project, I thought I would just make a single mpg VCD on toolkit. Here's what I did:
Made my avi compatible for toolkit using TMPGEnc and VCD Mux.
Then I made my project in toolkit and completed the build.
But, then I couldn't save it to CD using Gear Pro 6.03. I received an error saying that there was a problem with the bin file in line 1.
Anyhow, I would like to solve this problem, as well as many others. I believe this should be a much easier task...shouldn't it. I mean, this really isn't asking that much.
    Yes, I am a newbie.
Yes, I searched, read, and tried first....but is the software that hard to use for this application or am I missing something.
Thank you much for your time!

  3. Thanks for the note, but it reallt isn't that easy. Here are the requirements:
    1. only audio tracks are visible by a cd player
    2. can play audio or video in a dvd player that has vcd capability.
Shouldn't be that hard, but it seems that most ways of making a mix CD will show blank tracks on a CD player.

I appreciate the input but please do not reply unless you have made something that fulfills the requirements above or unless you have experience in the tools in the post above. Thanks!!!
