I am capturing video from my DV-camcorder (PAL) and usually encoding the streams to MPEG-2 (6000 Kb/s VBR) with Pinnacle Studio 8. All DVD I author shows the similar problem regardless of authorware:
When playing the streams with a stationary DVD, the TV crops the frame by 10-15 pixels in all four margins of the picture. However, playing the DVD on a computer do nothing of the kind.
Any work-around? Tools to resize the frame while encoding?

Actually, it is displaying the "cropped" portion. It's hidden by the bezel around your screen. You have to allow for that when adding text, and also when filming.

Thanks for a quick answer. Any idea on how to "..allow for that... when filming"? Is it possible to add a black margin by resize and center the frames after capture by say 80%?Originally Posted by Yorel
