i just got some mail, advertising a program that (DVD PRO 4.0)saids it will allow you to burn a DVD on a CD burner..anyone know anything of this program..if it works, it would save a lot of money, not having to buy a DVD burner..

    They probably just mean VCD's.

  5. I have often thought about that. I have an LG combo drive it reads DVD and burns CD.....I think that it would work....but maybe just maybe if I wish upon a star it would work and all of us had been taken for a ride.....

I bet the difference is a 50 cent peice of plastic
How long could we maintain? I wondered. How long until one of us starts raving and jabbering at this boy? What will he think then?

It's gotta be VCD because there is no way that you are gonna squize 4.7GB DVD into 700MB CD.
Or the other think possible, is that it may just be a scam to get you hook on something, like to sign up or something like that. Don't you think that if something like that existed that one of the head companies(ex. Adobe or Ahead) would have got their hand on it first instead of some unknown name company. I don't believe that something like this exists because no one would be buying DVD burners or least their prices would have dropped drastically, but they are still the same price and everyone buys them.
