How to show subtitle with MP4 files on WMP with media foundation enabled?

Hello,

My setup to watch video files is simple: WMP12 on windows 10, Lav and VSFilter, and i also have DFX 10 installed (for WMP only).

Every thing is running fine except for MP4 files, the subtitle does not work with them and i have to disable the media foundation for MP4 files to get the subtitle to show up, but then the DFX stops working with MP4 files until i enable the media foundation for them again.

So i either get the subtitle working with MP4 files without the DFX, or get the DFX working with MP4 files but without subtitles, and i was wondering if there is any other way to force subtitles to show up with MP4 files without having to disable the media foundation for them so the DFX keeps working as well?, like even with another subtitle filter other than VSFilter if there is any?

Please explain!, what do you mean the normal version? are you referring to the latest DFX that creates a virtual hardware device and takes control over all sounds coming out from any application?, this one is very very bad and the virtual hardware device it creates is really very weak compared to the actual sound adapter even vs the normal built-in realtek, i've made lots of tests about this and came up with the fact that the old version of DFX that works with WMP only is the one that works perfectly.

And so far all types of video files i play (like MKV and others) all work fine with both DFX 10 and VSFilter for subtitles, except just the MP4 files.

So if there is a way to force the subtitles to load with MP4 files without disabling media foundation, whether it is with VSFilter somehow? or another subtitle filter if there are any others that you can suggest?, then that would be the best way to solve this issue. :)
