Question about Phillips DVP 5960

I have a DVP5660 with usb port, I purchased an INOi HD362-P HD enclosure, installed an formatted 20gb HD at Fat32. loaded files but when I connect it it to dvp it says (device not reconized)
Any suggestions?

P:S: System works fine with thumb drive........

Try formatting with a different tool such as this one: http://www.compuapps.com/Download/swissknife/swissknife.htm

Also ensure the partition is set as active.
