Here's the main problem I see:
Your drives are set to PIO mode. This will cause all sorts of problems. To check DMA/PIO mode within Windows:Quote:

Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
From there, right click on one of the channels and choose 'Properties>Advanced Settings'. All drives should be DMA mode. The 'Current Transfer Mode' for Hard drives is usually DMA 4-6 and DVD burners DMA 2-4, DVD ROMs usually DMA 2. If you see any in PIO mode, that can slow things down.
Changing them back may be easy or complicated. First see if you can change them in that window. If not, I usually uninstall the channel the drive is on and let the OS reinstall it. This will usually take a reboot. Check them after the reboot and if they are not in DMA mode, try changing them. This will not damage any files on the computer.
From there, if no luck, get back to us.

thanks alot for your instruction.I go to ide ata/atapi controller,I see 2 primary channel and 2 secondary channel. when I check the property of them,one I saw the current transfer mode is ultra dma mode 5 at one primary channel. Should I change it?
That is what you want. You don't want to change anything unless is states the mode is PIO.
You need to check both the primary and secondary IDE channels. You mentioned that the primary channel is DMA mode 5. That's good, but what about the secondary channel? The secondary channel is the one with your burner and reader on it. According to the Nero log that you posted, the secondary channel is set to PIO. If so, just delete the secondary channel driver as redwudz suggests and reboot. Unless you have some other problem, the secondary channel should be in DMA mode after you reboot.
I just figured out that my burner and dvd-rom are not in ide ata/atapi cotroller. They are in gigabyte gb36*** something controller(when i run nero info tool, they just have autorun mode on). Therefore I think my problem now is about set up bios. IS there anyone know to set up bios for GA-965p DS3 in order to solve my problem? I have to sata hdd and both of them are in ide ata/atapi controller.
That motherboard only has 2 ATA/IDE channels, and you should have your optical drives hooked to them, unless you have some sort of PCI add-on ATA controller. Your SATA hard drive would be the DMA 5. I would look in each channel till you find the optical drives and check their settings. My SATA 300 drive shows as DMA 6 and my Sony IDE/PATA burner as DMA 4. If I had a DVD ROM, it would probably show as DMA 2.
Some controllers don't show the same channel settings as a regular ATA/IDE controller in Device Manager. If you find the optical drives in Device manager, try uninstalling their channels.
I doubt BIOS settings would help, but check them if you like.
But, anyway, if those optical drives are really in PIO mode as Nero says, that will cause a lot of problems. :(

Have you recorded with this unit before?
Are you having trouble with all recordings or only with the movies mentioned ?
I think the problem is from bios setting. I try to set my hard drive running in sata mode but it keeps turning out that it is running in ide mode.
I can burn data but for movie it barely succeeds.
Typically, the only BIOS settings are AUTO/Manual (manual being where you enter all of the drive information). Just leave them set to AUTO. Also, as long as the BIOS recognizes all of the hardware, no other BIOS settings should be necessary.
It sounds like the problem (if there is one) is within Windows. Windows often recognizes hardware/controllers differently than you expect. However, most often, as long as they are recognized, and you can find your devices and verify any available settings, they should work fine. For example, I've used multiple PCI IDE controller cards to add more IDE channels. Windows always sees these controllers/drives as SCSI, which they are not.
