The audio files don't skip on my computer, only after I've burned them onto a cd and play on a sterio they do. I'm using a NEC DVD RW ND 2510A and burning the audio cd's with easy cd creator 6 and nero. Can someone help me I don't know what to do.

Creating audio CDs is pretty basic. With either software program you should not have any problems. Have you tried the discs in other players? A few older players were picky about burned CDs, but I haven't seen that in a while. About the only thing I can think of is to try different CD media, but I haven't often seen a bad CD burn.
Another possibility is a problem with the burner itself, but again, that would be unusual. You might want to examine the burned side of the disc and see if there are any irregularities in the surface, blotches or missing tracks.
nero 7 has a bug in mp3pro.dll c:\programes\common files\ahead\audioplugins\
you can only fix this by upgrading to 7.5.7.0 from neros website
you can find the link from the tools menu
Dont know if its still the same but Nero used to only burn from mp3 reliably at under 16x speed.
easy cd creator 6 and nero
A reminder that these two do not like each other , there is a conflict ... remove easy cd creator , and try with nero only .
The issue maybe on the Stereo CD drive. If it is so, then you may want to try the AudioCD blanks.
Are the discs scratched or dirty in some way? When is the last time that you cleaned the lens?
A reminder about NERO 7, I had this same problem until yesterday (when i posted the resolve to your problem)
Nero has recognised the bug in the audioplugins folder, THIS IS THE PROBLEM. Its also effects other programes including CDBURNER XP PRO, a very stable program for burning audio cd's.
You can either replace the mp3PRO.dll with (mp3PRO.dll 2.0.0.17)file or upgrade the nero you have to the latest release.
this bug will effect your other burning programs, its not poor quality cd's, your drive or your player.. its just this shitty file mp3PRO.dll ========================================
