NEC1300A and Princo media

Im having terrible problems burning PRINCO media (Datawrite yellow top) with the following media code:

I've tried herries 1.08 and managed to do two disks, but now at 4x I get power calibration errors (Nero and DVD Decryptor) or at 2x I get a failure in finalising the disk. I've coasterd 6 of these now and I'm hoping to find an answer before wasting more disks........

The 1.08 is not yet patched for additional media support.
The rip-speed limit is removed (*) but it doesn't have the the # sign

Get the ones that have the # sign (1.07 *#A or *#B)

I won't trust Princo's DVD media any more. I bought Memorex 4x DVD-R and Maxell 4x DVD-R, and they are all good so far.

Well, with Herries hacked 1.07 firmware, DVD decryptor still gets write retries at 2.4x and fails to burn. Haven't tried 4x, didn't think there was much point. Nero still fails with this media at the end of the burn with a failure to close DAO session. Bang go 2 more blanks... If I hadn't managed to burn two of these things cleanly the first times I tried with them, I wouldn't have gone and bought 50 more... So frustrating.
