- 2017 Surface Pro (Core i5 7300U processor, Intel HD 620 GPU, 8GB RAM, 1 GB of shared video RAM (as I understand it), 256 GB of internal solid-state storage, a microSDXC card slot, and one USB 3.0 port) running Windows 10 Pro.
Surface Dock: my Surface Dock has three USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, and two Mini DisplayPort ports.
Actually, the USB ports on my tablet and on my dock might be USB 3.1 Gen. 1, but I know that they are not USB 3.1 Gen. 2. If they were Gen. 2, then the new Surface USB-C adapter, which I don't own, would support Gen. 2 speed, but it doesn't. That tells me that the ports are limited to Gen. 1 speed.
