hi all,
automatically if I use the cut tool, the first track is cut while to move to the second I have to click with the left mouse on the cursor on the second track. Is there a quicker and safer way to move from the first to the second and cut the second and not the first?

GPU Card For Davinci Resolve ?

Is a 12GB NVidia RTX 3060 sufficient to edit 4K video from a Sony A7IV? The most complex operation I anticipate is brightening video footage that is too dark from bright sky deceiving the meter. I don't want to buy a card that won't work for what I anticipate I will need to do.

DebugMode FrameServer: Can't run program when FrameServer starts [Solved]

Well, what it says above. When I try to encode video from Adobe Premiere via the dmfs plugin, I specify the file to be run when the frameserver starts, but I just get the error: "Unable to execute this command. Please check and try again." The frustrating bit is, this worked fine for me for a long time, until I had to nuke/pave/install Windows 11 (yeah, thanks Adobe.), but now I just can't get it to run my script (or anything, really).

I'm trying to execute a PowerShell script that feeds the video through ffmpeg and uploads it via youtube uploader, and I just can't make it happy enough to run. Both the specified pwsh and script exist (checked from command line). Get-ExecutionPolicy is RemoteSigned. Generally, it runs fine in a terminal:
pwsh "C:\Users\\Documents\Scripts\frameserver-encoding.ps1"

Trying to specify the whole path also works, which in my install is:
"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.PowerShell_7.6.6.0_x64 __8wekyb3d8bbwe\pwsh.exe" -File "C:\Users\\Documents\Scripts\frameserver-encoding.ps1"

The Windows run dialog wanted an extra set of nested quotes, a la:
""C:\Program Files\\pwsh.exe" -File "C:\Users\\frameserver-encoding.ps1""

Just for kicks, I tried feeding FrameServer just the pwsh.exe, which also doesn't work (?!). So clearly, I'm missing something important. Can someone please point out what I'm doing wrong? :)

Is there a way to view the clip duration without having to click on the start and end of the clip and calculate it manually?

To display the audio spectrum of the first track I click switch normalize, does this affect the audio or just the display?

Magix Video Deluxe 2027

I ordered today Magix Video Deluxe 2027 Premium that is on sale these days.
Apart from the usual video editing features, what made me order it is that it has some nice new features:
AI Speech to Text Offline
AI Text to Speech
Facial Recognition
The license is for two computers.

The Speech to Text works reasonably well for videos (movies and TV shows), but if there is music background it will not work so well. Tested this with video songs and operas and I didn't get any text.
Also videos with multiple audio tracks seems to make it have a lot of errors.
In short, if you need accurate subtitle file, use other applications or use Magix Hub credits (2 hours included in the Premium)

Virtual Dub freezes when loading PSD sequence.

Hi, guys. Suddenly trouble happened with my old reliable Virtual Dub 2 41585.
Cannot open neither PSD sequence, nor any single PSD file at all. It instantly freezes the software and it stays forever that way.
Only couple of months ago it was all fine. What could be the culprit?
I never could've bothered with PSDs in the first place, but that's the format my 3D software uses to render image sequences, that's what it is.
Any ideas?
