However i'm having trouble getting the codec to install. Tried installing the .inf file, rebooting, installing an exe. But to no avail, as it just wont show up in the vDub codecs.

MPC and none of the Windows players only show a garbled, lower half of the video.
I've tried taking off a few key frames in AviDemux and creating a new "copy" of the video. Same error. Audio plays fine on both.
I have a few of these from the same "collection" DVD that don't play correctly.
Any ideas?
