when trying to ffmpeg the m3u8 i get access forbidden, i have a cert.pem and a private key which is a certificate invoked by the android application registered device inside pak.db, how can i ffmpeg without getting forbidden access to the nagra uri?

I�ve seen video files with some inserted (embedded) ad-videos (typically less than 30s). These ad videos can have different encoding so that they cause playing problems at those time points. Do you know how to handle this issue?

Hi everyone,

I�m currently trying to learn how to download DRM-protected videos by following this tutorial

I�ve installed the required software and pushed frida-server into a rooted Android Studio virtual device successfully. When I run dump_keys.py in dumper, it reports a series of INFO, DEBUG and Hooks completed.

However, when I play a DRM-protected video, I can't get any further output from the dumper.

I�ve tried videos from npo.nl and lascala.tv (requires login but free to watch), unfortunately both of them have the same issue.

I may have missed something in the setup, so I was wondering if anyone could kindly point me in the right direction or suggest what I should check.

The Dutch schatkamer.beeldengeluid.nl is the Holy Grail for that.

Years ago I succeeded in downloading from streaming sites, but the rules are changed I conclude. A new hobby project this winter to learn this again.

I made an account on here because I have noticed that Schatkamer, a site that archives old TV broadcasts and episodes in the highest resolution possible has updated their M3u8 protection to feature a more aggressive DRM.

I am trying to get this TV Movie from them. As the only version that is easily out there is a shitty AI upscaled version on YouTube.

some of the threads indicate not like maybe kanopy changed or updated their DRM.

I think even programs like streamfab don't do kanopy downloads so are there

N_m3u8DL-RE is new to me and I was intrigued. I have since been gathering info on it, and I have been learning about how folks here obtain videos.
I have a simple grasp at this time what is going on in the command, and I have been making basic tasks for myself to gain a better understanding.

What I do do not understand at all is how the necessary structure of the above command was obtained. I have been learning about use of dev tool and other tools used in obtaining video material, but my searches for info on obtaining the specific command line structure (along with the necessary elements) needed for ok.ru in relation to N_m3u8DL-RE have been fruitless.

I am an old geezer (my first experience with programming was with FORTRAN and IBM punch cards), and I have piddled around with much in the computing arena since that time, and I like keeping my brain alive. Could somebody please give me a shove in the right direction ?

I have the StreamFab program (current version) and am trying to download a video from Magenta TV. However, it fails every time right at the end with a "Failed" error.

Is there a way to manually obtain the MPD file and the keys? I�d like to try my luck using yt-dlp, mp4decrypt, and ffmpeg.
In older versions of StreamFab, you could see the keys and the MPD file in File Explorer, but that�s no longer possible.
