But the MediaInfo on some of these show framerates of 50fps. I know for a fact that most British video is 25 fps. And I've seen some annoying frame jumping in these upscale so-called 1080p versions. Can this be legitimately considered making the content worse for introduction of those artifacts ? I may not be accurate on the terms I'm just asking for my own information.

I have a LG 55UH850V ULTRA HD 3D Slim TV.
Among the features is the ability to play MKV videos with the HEVC codec. There are currently two broad types of HEVC: 8-bit (SDR) and 10-bit (HDR).
By downloading videos from some sites that display both 8-bit and 10-bit HEVC videos, both videos can be played on the TV, either via an external hard drive or via DLNA (Windows 10 File Sharing).

This TV, however, does not play some videos, although they can be viewed on the PC.

I want to display the MediaInfo data for the following files:

https://pastebin.com/Yt2NLTM2 - HEVC 4K SDR 30fps - WORKS!
https://pastebin.com/GisFUGZu - HEVC 4K HDR 30fps - WORKS!
https://pastebin.com/Z0baW1kw - HEVC 1080p SDR 23,976fps - DOES NOT WORKS!!!!

I can't find the problem where my TV refuses to play a file like this.
Can anyone solve this mystery for me?

Hi all.

I used to use TMPGEnc (https://www.videohelp.com/software/TMPGEnc) Smart Render 4 to convert my M2TS files (joined using txMuxer) to MXF files. I use Adobe Premiere (https://www.videohelp.com/software/Adobe-Premiere-Pro) to do Multicam Editing and MXF files give me the best performance....

Hi all.

I used to use TMPGEnc Smart Render 4 to convert my M2TS files (joined using txMuxer) to MXF files. I use Adobe Premiere to do Multicam Editing and MXF files give me the best performance.

When I upgraded to Windows 11, Smart Render wouldn't even load. I tried countless uninstalls and installs, running as administrator and compatibility mode and nothing worked. So I decided to go the freeware route.

I tried XMedia Recode but the audio would not pass through to the mxf files.I even tried the latest version but same issue persists. After much experimentation, I decided to try other freeware gui based ffmpeg software. I settled on FFMPEG Batch AV Converter. I really like it!

However, I am still having issues. The conversion (Rewrap) to MXF works, but when I import the files into Premiere, they play back in slow motion (for some reason, FFMPEG Batch AV Converter changes the framerate) AND play back stutters, so much so that I can't do a proper edit. The slow motion did NOT happen when I first tried FFMPEG Batch AV Converter. BTW, when FFMPEG Batch AV Converter did NOT change the framerate, the video still stuttered.

Following are the Mediainfo files for both the Smart Render 4 MXF followed by the FFMPEG Batch AV Converter MXF files.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated:

Hello
I have several videos in AVI, MP4 and other formats that want to convert to DVD-5 format. I'm using the software tool ConverXtoDVD version 7 64 bits.

I want the conversions to be a 1 to 1 in terms of quality, without loss, or at least keep it down to a minimum. How do I do it?

DVD-5 have 4,7gb of storage. It can store a maximum of 99 videos. The number of videos on the DVD-5 seem to be irrelevant. It does not affect the the video quality. The maximum bit rate of the video/s is 10Mbps. And the ideal is for the video/s not to have more than 120 minutes / 2 hours long. Correct if I'm wrong, please.

If it's just one video, no matter the file container, AVI, MP4, whatever, with less than 4,7gb and less than 120 minutes, probably the quality of the conversion to DVD-5 will be 1 to 1, right? But what about conversions of one or more videos with a total of more than 120 minutes? What should I do in order to keep the original quality?

Here's an example: I have a history television show of 13 episodes, 30 minutes each episode, 6 hours and 30 minutes total, and in AVI format. What should I take into consideration? The time? What will make the quality decrease? Should I convert only a maximum of 120 minutes per DVD-5 to keep the quality 1 to 1?
