The peculiar problem on this PC, ASUS A320 MK with onboard audio is that just one stream out of all content when selected will not play.
It's just a city council meeting supplied by the media service which processes their meetings. I can go into the other room where I have an older MSI 760gm and the audio will play. It seems very local to just this ASUS A320. Are there realtek updates available that will _simplify_ all the hi rez settings which the screenshot shows ?

Since the two German tracks show the same details, I assume that one is the "real" stereo track and the other one should be mono converted to stereo.

I thought I use FFMPEG with the following command to find out which one is the real stereo track:

Code:

ffmpeg -i input.wav -filter_complex "stereotools=phasel=1" -ac 1 output.wav

I would expect that the converted stereo shows a flat line, while the real stereo shows some differences.

But when I check now the output, I see one German track flat out, and the other two tracks with some wave forms.

For my understanding, the English track should also be flat out, or not?

Am I interpreting the FFMPEG command wrong, or what am I seeing here actually?

But in Resolve it's recognized as 5.1Film and the mapping is L C R Ls Rs LFE.

The problem is that if I change the audio format in the clip attributes to 5.1, the channels are not mapped correctly because the C and LFE are in the wrong position, the channel order does no change place on format change, so the C waveform is always the 2nd channel and LFE 6th.

How ca nI make Resolve parse the file correctly or should I remap the channels manually?
channel 1 - L
channel 3 - R
channel 2 - C
channel 6 - LFE
