I just heard a report on the radio that the XBOX is going to go to around $200.

From those who own one, is it worth it for VCDs?

I thought I heard the PSII to drop to $200. You mean Xbox also?

Actually I don't think you can play VCD's on the Xbox. For you to be able to you'll need a mod-chip and that'll cost like $79.00 plus you have to solder 30 wires to it...yeah that's right 30!!! That's unheard of nowadays, but for the price it'll be a good buy so that a in a few months you can play VCD's on it. I personally use it to play games...what about all you peeps who has Xbox. What do you do with yours...!!!

Yep, I had not heard about the PSX II, but I'm sure once one drops it will force the other to do so as well.

Expect the Gamecube to drop to around $150 now.

Also, anybody know anything about any possiblities on the horizon for what to do with the Gamecube?

I know the laser is kind of a speciality to Nintendo, but I'm sure somebody will be smart enough to figure out how to do stuff with it.

personally, i think not. why? cuz ya allready got a computer. it uses a intel 700mhz processor, and a NVidia Geforce gpu.

translated it means that the xbox games will be emulatable within notime, and for vcd/svcd/dvd perposes, it seems it scratches the CDs. normal (legal) cds will be just fine, but cdr media will be distroyed very quickly.

besides, you got a great filter on the pc itself
