My Philips 622 cannot fastword or rewind my SVCD burned with Nero, evenif I have added the file Scandata .dat as mentioned in this site.

Please help me out on this matter.

It's a Philips firmware-problem. There is a solution (, but only if your player is flash-upgradable.

Well I have updated the dvd following the specifications, but nothing changed still no fastward or rewind.

Well, at least you seem to be able to upgrade the player. I own a DVD752 and tried to upgrade. After a while, the displays shows: "FLA ERROR".

I do not know if my player is upgradeable. Does anyone have an idea how to determine if the player is upgradeable?
