Hi all.
Downloaded the SVCD test-file from this site. Any suggestions how to burn it (G4 with CD-RW, Toast Titanium 5.01, QuickTime 5.02)? Maybe there is a thread already, but I couldn't find it...
THX in advance.

use http://www.sbpr.a.se/vcdtoolsx/ on MacOSX
first extract the MPG with VCDXRip, then use the ToastXAImager command to convert it into two XA tracks, then burn these with Toast in XA multitrack mode.

on 9.2.1 the only method to my knowledge is to run Windows on Virtual PC and then use FireBurner to binchunk the .bin file. You will get two XA track. Then you burn them in Toast XA multitrack.

Mikail,
Did you ever find out how to burn the test SVCD on the Mac? I tried using Toast5 to burn the .bin file as a CD-ROM XA, but it didn't play back on my DVD Player.
Thanks,
Chris

burning the .bin as a single XA track will not work. you must split it into two XA tracks, as said above.

You can mount the bin file on you MAC using the create disc image feature in Toast 5 (for some reason I had to copy the bin to my hard drive first). I am not sure if you can take the files out and put them into the two tracks, which files what order and where...good luck
