if i have a movie files in "dat" format , and i want cut out only last 15 minute is that any software can accomplish this job another than using vcdcutter , any suggestion.

commercial product and non commercial product also can

i have tried to edit dat. files but the sound was dramatically off on the finished product. only way i know of is to use vcdgear located in the tools section and convert it to mpg then cut off what you don't want. i'm unsure however if the same program can convert it back to a dat. file
