Noticed that alot of juniors are posting just utter crap in the Off Topic forum so that there post counts goes up so they can become members. A post should only count if posted in the other forums not this one or the Off Topic.

When you have posted 30 posts you will advance to member.
And it's no difference beeing a member than a junior....I'm thinking of either remove the status or change it, to become a real member you have to donate or something....

Well you could always redesign the forum. The Home Theater Forum requires you to use your real name.

I am 26 years old i dont wanna be a junior, cause that makes it illegal for me to show my body over the net, cause being a junior i could also be classed as a preteen or even a lolita and thats not right, i dont wanna be underage cause then i cant drink or watch strip shows!!! Thank god junior can still download porn and whack off all day long

Baldrick, can you make custom status labels for people? I recently registered at a forum where the admin started a thread that said if anyone wanted a custom status to post it with quotes, and he would do it. If you can, could you make mine "Muppet King"?

And yeah... that sounds like a good idea... That you cannot have a custom status or a Member status unless you've donated.

You mean TIbrO and d4n13l got their status changed for free? And we have to pay for it?! Damn, I should have discovered this site earlier!

Everybody should be able to change their membership status, it is in your "Preferences". I dont know if you have to contribute in some way, I dont think that I contributed anything to be able to modify it. I got the "gold club" status because I am optimising all the sites images... which has taken me a long time (only 6 left to do now!).

I can't change it in my Preferences. I should be able to change it because I added a guide to this site!
Also I've noticed that some people have the Member status but its Gold. Does this happen after a number of posts?

This is slightly off the original topic of the post but has anyone noticed that there seem to be a lot of very junior type questions in all the forums lately? Not that I consider myself senior by any stretch but a lot of the posts could be answered by simply reading some of the excellent guides and other information available on this site. Maybe I'm just old but I recall when nettiquette meant you actually spent a little time to research a topic to get some background before you asked questions that showed how little work you had actually done. It looks like people just discover the forum, jump right in and post a question without even reading any of the other posts to see if the question was asked before. Or perhaps I just got up on the wrong side of the bed today... :-^

You got it buddy. People are just getting lazy. Just dont bother to respond to them if the answer is in the FAQ or something.
