I have a 40 file mpg that I want to join. The problem is I have 1-19 then missing 20-30, and have 31-40.
How can I join 31-40 since I am missing that middle section and HJ split stops at file 19?

You might be out of luck. My only suggestion is to join the first series, then rename the last series to 1, 2, etc.. and see if HJsplit will join those. When you have both mpgs use another mpg joiner to join them, TMPGenc will work fine. Thats the problem with HJSplit files, I have no idea why people use that stupid program.

I don't see the point, you are missing 1 third of the movie, and its the middle part. Even if you did re-construct it, what use is the movie with the middle missing ?

Never used that program, But I guess its like the others winrar etc, they have checks, feed them the wrong bit (renamed) and they wont work.

Best to dump the files and move on....
