Camera not recognised?????????

Help needed. I've had my DV camera for a while now (Sony DCR-TRV10E) and have recently bought a Firewire card and kit (Hauppauge DV-Wizard). I can install the card no problem but the computer won't recognise that a camera is attached, it knows there is something there but not what.

I have heard that it is due to the fact I run Windows ME, is this right? I want to convert some footage and can't.

You may want to check Sony's website to see if your firewire card is capatible with you camera.

I've tried that but the camera is a couple of years old now so they have no info now.
