playback(i mite just be thick)

my dvd player wharfedale 750 plays region 1 in black and white and, region 0 sometimes in black and white and some times in colour (same disk )
1.is there any fixes for this?
2.what causes this?
3. do i need a ntsc/pal convertor? if so where to get one
many thanks
4. or do i just need a new tele
any reply at all would help even if its just to say dont be thick:smile:

you could try the region free hack (disc loaded in tray, press 0, press 1, press 2, press 3, press play) or go to Tesco's and trade it in for the wharfdale 750S...
